Brief Description
At SoipoServices, we proudly contributed to the Humusense project, a cutting-edge AI-driven platform for smart soil monitoring in precision agriculture. Our team focused on developing the robust integration layer and intuitive backoffice, leveraging technologies like InfluxDB for high-frequency sensor time-series data, PostGIS for geospatial field mapping and analysis, Laravel for scalable backend APIs, Vue.js for dynamic frontends, and Mapbox for interactive visualizations of crop health, irrigation zones, and satellite overlays
Technical Contributions
- Data Integration Pipeline: We engineered seamless ingestion of IoT sensor data (soil moisture, temperature, microclimate), weather forecasts, and satellite imagery into InfluxDB, enabling real-time querying and AI-powered alerts for risks like water stress or diseases.
- Geospatial Backoffice: Using PostGIS and Mapbox GL JS integrated via Laravel APIs and Vue.js components, we built a web app dashboard for farmers to visualize field states, define irrigation schedules, and generate agrivoltaic reports—optimizing water use and yields while reducing waste.
- Scalable Architecture: Laravel handled secure authentication, subscription management (Base, Agrivoltaico, Custom plans), and multi-sensor support (up to 16 probes per unit), with Vue.js delivering responsive UIs for PC access, agronomist sharing, and actionable insights.
This collaboration exemplifies SoipoServices' expertise in IoT system integration, custom software, and data analytics, turning raw field data into farm efficiency gains.
